“legacy”
This photographic exhibition honors that legacy through two iconic and often overlooked figures, the Black ballerina and the Black cowboy, whose stories reflect the principles the organization has long fought to uphold, including autonomy, grace, poise, and the freedom to be fully oneself. These works function not only as photographs, but as declarations of presence and continuity. They affirm that Black excellence does not wait for permission and that leadership is expressed in many forms.
